<\/p>

La destination de randonn\u00e9e du Col du Surenen (ou Surenenpass) a \u00e9t\u00e9 maintes fois d\u00e9crite. On peut donc se r\u00e9f\u00e9rer aux divers articles d\u00e9j\u00e0 existants. Toutefois, je ne me lasse pas de traverser r\u00e9guli\u00e8rement ce col et donc de d\u00e9crire mon aventure.<\/p>

La travers\u00e9e du col depuis Engelberg jusqu\u2019\u00e0 Altdorf repr\u00e9sente un gros morceau pour qui veut l\u2019effectuer durant la journ\u00e9e. Il faut, en effet, compter plus de 7 heures de marche, pour une distance de pratiquement 35Km et une d\u00e9nivellation de 1500m. Il est donc pr\u00e9f\u00e9rable de couper la randonn\u00e9e en deux. On peut certes dormir \u00e0 Engelberg et prendre le premier bus et la premi\u00e8re benne pour F\u00fcrenalp. On peut \u00e9galement choisir dormir sur l\u2019alpage. La possibilit\u00e9 qui s\u2019offre alors est de dormir au chalet de Hohbiel. Ce chalet met \u00e0 disposition quelques chambres et un grand dortoir. C\u2019est tr\u00e8s rustique, mais cela vaut le d\u00e9placement. L\u2019avantage est que ce faisant, on raccourci d\u2019une heure environ le trajet entre F\u00fcrenalp et le col.<\/p>

Depuis Hohbiel, on suit un bout de sentier quasiment \u00e0 plat menant aux chutes du St\u00e4uber (\u00e9galement appel\u00e9 Stierenbach). Apr\u00e8s le pont sur le torrent et une courte mont\u00e9e, on traverse pour rejoindre l\u2019alpage de Blacken. C\u2019est \u00e0 partir de la Blackenalp que les choses s\u00e9rieuses commencent r\u00e9ellement. Un bon sentier grimpe \u00e0 travers la pente sous le Blackenstock pour atteindre un endroit un peu plus plat juste sous l\u2019abri et sous le col.<\/p>

De l\u2019autre c\u00f4t\u00e9 du col, un sentier en lacets permet de perdre rapidement en altitude. Malgr\u00e9 le fait que les VTT ont passablement endommag\u00e9 l\u2019itin\u00e9raire, on arrive encore assez facilement \u00e0 trouver la ligne id\u00e9ale. Un peu plus bas, dans un virage \u00e0 droite sous une barre de rocher, part une trace de sentier traversant toute la pente d\u2019\u00e9boulis sous le Brunnistock. Je privil\u00e9gie cette variante, malgr\u00e9 le fait qu\u2019il peut y avoir des n\u00e9v\u00e9s probl\u00e9matiques en d\u00e9but de saison et qu\u2019il ne s\u2019agit pas de trop s\u2019arr\u00eater dans la travers\u00e9e, \u00e0 cause des chutes de pierre. L\u2019avantage est qu\u2019on ne doit pas remonter au petit col pr\u00e8s de l\u2019Angistock.<\/p>

Plus loin, le sentier \u00e9volue le long d\u2019une ar\u00eate depuis laquelle les points de vue sur le Lac d\u2019Uri sont de plus en plus fr\u00e9quents. Le long de l\u2019ar\u00eate, on ne manquera pas de passer pr\u00e8s du Geissr\u00fcggen, endroit o\u00f9 des fouilles ont mis \u00e0 jour des restes datant de la p\u00e9riode de la civilisation de Hallstatt (bronze tardif).<\/p>

Plus bas, pr\u00e8s du Chr\u00e4ienh\u00f6reli, une mont\u00e9e raide nous rappelle que l\u2019on n\u2019a pas tout \u00e0 fait rejoint la station d\u2019arriv\u00e9e du t\u00e9l\u00e9ph\u00e9rique du Br\u00fcsti.<\/p>
