<\/p>

Cette randonn\u00e9e m\u2019a \u00e9t\u00e9 inspir\u00e9e par l\u2019ouvrage \u00ab\u00a0Guide de la d\u00e9couverte du patrimoine transfrontalier\u00a0\u00bb, \u00e9ditions Slatkine, 2002 (\u00e9puis\u00e9). Ce guide propose diff\u00e9rentes randonn\u00e9es tout autour du canton de Gen\u00e8ve en partant d\u2019Hermance pour terminer \u00e0 C\u00e9ligny.<\/p>

Ici, j\u2019avais d\u00e9cid\u00e9 d\u2019effectuer la randonn\u00e9e partant de S\u00e9zegnin pour traverser La Laire, passer par La Repentance, retraverser la Laire et revenir par Avusy. C\u2019est une randonn\u00e9e tout \u00e0 fait indiqu\u00e9e \u00e0 l\u2019entre-saison. En \u00e9t\u00e9, il fait trop chaud pour l\u2019entreprendre.<\/p>

Apr\u00e8s m\u2019\u00eatre gar\u00e9 \u00e0 S\u00e9zegnin, j\u2019ai suivi la route pour pouvoir suivre le chemin descendant au bord de La Laire et de franchir celle-ci sur un pont permettant de gagner Veigy. Le tron\u00e7on le long de la route est le seul d\u00e9sagr\u00e9able, car on doit suivre la route tendant de Soral \u00e0 S\u00e9zegnin. Heureusement, la circulation n\u2019y est pas trop intense.<\/p>

A Veigy, on peut alors rejoindre Malagny tout en \u00e9vitant la route. Il faut pour cela passer par Camot. Malheureusement, les cl\u00f4tures pour le b\u00e9tail n\u2019on pas toujours un passage d\u2019am\u00e9nag\u00e9. On est alors contraint d\u2019escalader les portillons. Apr\u00e8s avoir travers\u00e9 Malagny, il faut emprunter un chemin agricole descendant vers le Ruisseau des Foges. Celui-ci se franchit sans encombre sur une passerelle en b\u00e9ton.<\/p>

La mont\u00e9e vers la Tuili\u00e8re est souvent boueuse et il est parfois difficile de se frayer un passage permettant d\u2019\u00e9viter de se crotter les chaussures. A la Tuili\u00e8re, on suit un bon chemin descendant vers un autre nant qui est franchi sur un bon pont. Au-del\u00e0, on p\u00e9n\u00e8tre dans une for\u00eat de pins avec, au pied de ceux-ci, une herbe assez touffue. L\u2019endroit est magnifique, mais sensible, raison pour laquelle des pontons ont \u00e9t\u00e9 am\u00e9nag\u00e9s.<\/p>

Apr\u00e8s la Repentance, on descend \u00e0 nouveau au bord de La Laire que l\u2019on franchit sur une bonne passerelle, proche du terrain d\u2019exercice de l\u2019arm\u00e9e. Sur l\u2019autre rive, on suit plus ou moins le ruisseau avant de monter en direction du vieux village d\u2019Avusy. Il vaut la peine alors de s\u2019attarder devant la maison forte de la Grave.<\/p>

Pour rejoindre S\u00e9zegnin on descend en direction du Moulin de la Grave pour passer pr\u00e8s d\u2019une \u00e9tendue d\u2019eau avant de remonter en direction du village.<\/p>
