<\/p>

M\u00eame si nous avions effectu\u00e9 des variantes de cette randonn\u00e9e plusieurs fois, nous avions eu l\u2019envie d\u2019y retourner, d\u2019autant plus que le stratus avait \u00e9t\u00e9 annonc\u00e9 persistant. M\u00eame si nous nous trouvions au-dessus de la couche de stratus, nous avions aussi l\u2019envie de changer un peu de secteur pour faire une randonn\u00e9e. Ainsi, nous nous \u00e9tions d\u00e9cid\u00e9s \u00e0 traverser les Pr\u00e9s de Macolin pour descendre \u00e0 travers les Gorges de Douanne. Nous savions cependant que nous ne pourrions pas descendre le long du chemin habituel, celui-ci \u00e9tant ferm\u00e9 hors saison. Mais, plusieurs chemins permettent tout de m\u00eame de descendre \u00e0 Douanne.<\/p>

Nous avions donc pris les transports en commun pour nous rendre \u00e0 Macolin. Arriv\u00e9s \u00e0 la station sommitale du funiculaire, nous avions suivi le sentier balis\u00e9 pour nous rendre \u00e0 la Fin du Monde. Que de souvenirs nous avons de cet endroit, puisque nous \u00e9tions souvent mont\u00e9s \u00e0 Macolin pour des camps d\u2019entra\u00eenement d\u2019athl\u00e9tisme. Entretemps, la piste a \u00e9t\u00e9 compl\u00e8tement refaite et c\u2019est un plaisir de la voir dans cet \u00e9tat.<\/p>

A partir de la Fin du Monde, nous sommes mont\u00e9s \u00e0 la Hohmatt pour y boire un caf\u00e9. Cet endroit, nous l\u2019avions \u00e9galement connu dans nos jeunes ann\u00e9es, puisqu\u2019il n\u2019\u00e9tait pas rare que nous nous y rendions pour un suppl\u00e9ment, sous forme de dessert. L\u2019endroit n\u2019a pas chang\u00e9, mais c\u2019est un cr\u00e8ve-c\u0153ur d\u2019apprendre que l\u2019\u00e9tablissement va probablement fermer.<\/p>

Apr\u00e8s la Hohmatt, nous sommes mont\u00e9s encore un peu pour rejoindre la Waldh\u00fctte, \u00e9galement r\u00e9gie par Haute Ecole de Sports. Nous y avions f\u00eat\u00e9 quelques \u00e9v\u00e9nements. Plus loin, le chemin devient beaucoup plus plat et, au sortir de la for\u00eat, descend en pente douce en direction de Lamboing. C\u2019est dans la descente que nous avions eu la d\u00e9ception de constater que le sommet du stratus \u00e9tait d\u00e9sormais bien plus haut qu\u2019annonc\u00e9. N\u00e9anmoins, nous avions continu\u00e9 \u00e0 descendre en direction du petit vallon du Twannbach.<\/p>

Arriv\u00e9s aux Moulins, nous avons poursuivi le chemin des gorges un moment, avant d\u2019emprunter la route foresti\u00e8re qui passe au-dessus des gorges. Ainsi, nous avions \u00e9vit\u00e9 la partie ferm\u00e9e (en principe) des gorges. Plus loin, nous avions quitt\u00e9 l\u2019itin\u00e9raire balis\u00e9 pour emprunter un chemin agricole qui descend de mani\u00e8re tr\u00e8s raide au-dessus des vignes. Ce faisant, nous \u00e9vitions un large d\u00e9tour par les sentiers balis\u00e9s. Apr\u00e8s une courte et raide descente, nous nous sommes retrouv\u00e9s \u00e0 la gare de Douanne.<\/p>
