Les Tablettes ist ein beliebtes Reiseziel in den Neuenburger Bergen. Tats\u00e4chlich bilden diese Felsen ein Vorgebirge am Eingang zum Val de Travers. Man \u00fcberragt dann die Gorges de l’Areuse und steht vor dem Creux du Van, dessen H\u00f6he man sch\u00e4tzen kann. Ausserdem bietet es einen freien Blick auf einen guten Teil der Alpen. Nur der s\u00fcdlichste Teil davon wird von dem langen Bergr\u00fccken der Montagne de Boudry verdeckt. Viele erreichen die Tablettes, indem sie das Auto in La Tourne stehen lassen. Der Weg dorthin dauert dann eine halbe Stunde zu Fuss. Allerdings sind die Orte deutlich weniger besucht als die \u201eSocial Network\u201c-Destinationen der Gorges de l\u2019Areuse und des Creux du Van. Da der gesamte Kamm bewaldet ist, ist es jedoch nicht immer m\u00f6glich, eine Aussicht zu geniessen, die v\u00f6llig frei von Zweigen ist, die die Sicht verdecken.<\/p>

Ich war mehrere Male auf Les Tablettes und wollte nochmals dorthin, indem ich \u00fcberquerte. Die Idee kam mir, als mir klar wurde, dass sowohl der Start dieser Wanderung als auch das Ziel sehr einfach mit der Bahn erreichbar sind. In der Tat liegt Chambrelien auf der Linie La Chaux-de-Fonds, wo der Zug die Richtung \u00e4ndern muss, um auf die bergauf f\u00fchrende Strecke (oder bergab, je nach Richtung) zu gelangen. Aus diesem Grund ist der Halt in Chambrelien gesichert. In Les Ponts-de-Martel f\u00e4hrt ein kleiner Zug durch das Vall\u00e9e des Ponts und verbindet dieses Dorf mit La Chaux-de-Fonds.<\/p>

Von Chambrelien aus steigt man zun\u00e4chst durch den Wald nach Rochefort. Dieser Aufstieg ist angenehm, weil man im Wald vorankommt. Erst am Ortsrand von Rochefort betritt man die Wiesen. Nachdem wir die stark befahrene Strasse des Val de Travers \u00fcberquert haben, folgen wir dem Merdasson eine Weile, bevor wir immer steiler in Richtung Les Tablettes aufsteigen. Kurz vor Erreichen des Ziels quert der Weg auf einen Grat, den er zum Gipfel erklimmt. Hier hat man den besten Blick auf den Neuenburgersee und das Val de Travers.<\/p>

Weiter f\u00fchrt der Weg am Grat entlang in Richtung Solmont und bietet hier und da ein paar Aussichtspunkte \u00fcber das Tal und die Montagne de Boudry. Wenn man Les Ponts-de-Martel erreichen m\u00f6chte, indem man den markierten Wegen folgt, muss man zum Felsenwinkel hinabsteigen, der Noiraigue \u00fcberragt. Dabei m\u00fcssen wir dann die Combe Hory hinaufsteigen, um die verlorene H\u00f6he wiederzugewinnen. Deshalb beschloss ich, nach Solmont den Wald zu durchqueren, um einen Waldweg zu erreichen, der nach Brot-Dessus hinunterf\u00fchrt.<\/p>

Nachdem man dieses Dorf durchquert habt, erreicht man die breite Ebene des Vall\u00e9e des Ponts. Der Weg f\u00fchrt zwischen S\u00fcmpfen und Torfmooren vorbei, und man soll sich die beiden Mineralwasserquellen, eine schwefel- und eine eisenhaltige, nicht entgehen lassen. Sie befinden sich dort, wo der Weg das Grand Bied kreuzt, und man sollte es nicht vers\u00e4umen, diese Gew\u00e4sser zu versuchen. Das Vorhandensein von Mineralwasserquellen in einem Kalksteinmassiv bleibt mir ein R\u00e4tsel, denn ich glaubte, dass sie nur in den Alpen vorkommen.<\/p>

Kurz darauf erreicht man das Dorf Ponts-de-Martel, wo man mit dem kleinen Zug nach La Chaux-de-Fonds fahren kann. Man sollte jedoch darauf achten, vorher den Fahrplan nachzusehen, denn der Zug f\u00e4hrt zu bestimmten Zeiten nicht und erfordert l\u00e4ngere Alternativen.<\/p>
