<\/p>

Lorsqu\u2019avec mes parents nous nous rendions \u00e0 Engelberg, nous suivions souvent la route traversant l\u2019Emmental et l\u2019Entlebuch. Ce faisant, nous avions l\u2019occasion, lorsque le besoin s\u2019en faisait sentir, de pouvoir nous arr\u00eater dans un des restaurants que nous trouvions le long de la route. Ainsi, il nous \u00e9tait fr\u00e9quemment arriv\u00e9 de nous arr\u00eater au restaurant Bahnhof \u00e0 Trubschachen, malheureusement disparu en 2010. Je me souviens que dans la salle \u00e0 manger il y avait un poster en noir et blanc repr\u00e9sentant les trois fameux sommets bernois (Eiger, M\u00f6nch et Junfrau) devant lesquels se trouvait une montagne tr\u00e8s allong\u00e9e et pr\u00e9sentant une face tr\u00e8s abrupte. J\u2019ignorais alors le nom de cette cha\u00eene de montagne et ce n\u2019est que bien plus tard que j\u2019ai d\u00e9couvert qu\u2019il s\u2019agissait du Hohgant. Plusieurs fois, je m\u2019en \u00e9tais approch\u00e9, sans avoir pu aller voir de plus pr\u00e8s. En me trouvant au pied de cette montagne en 2017, \u00e0 Eriz, je m\u2019\u00e9tais demand\u00e9 si la face abrupte pouvait se gravir facilement. C\u2019est en consultant la carte topographique que je me suis aper\u00e7u que plusieurs sentiers existaient.<\/p>

L\u00e0, nous avions d\u00e9cid\u00e9 de remonter la Chrinde, entonnoir dominant l\u2019alpage d\u2019Obere Breitwang, afin de gravir le sommet ouest du Hohgant. De plus, nous avions anticip\u00e9 que depuis le sommet ouest (Westgipfel), la vue ne serait pas enti\u00e8rement d\u00e9gag\u00e9e et qu\u2019il nous faudrait gravir le sommet voisin plus \u00e0 l\u2019est, cot\u00e9 \u00e0 2070m.<\/p>

Au d\u00e9part d\u2019Eriz, un bon sentier gravit la cr\u00eate entre le Chaltbach et le Fallbach et atteint le chemin carrossable menant \u00e0 l\u2019Untere et \u00e0 l\u2019Obere Breitwang. A partir de ce dernier chalet, les choses s\u00e9rieuses commencent. La pente devient de plus en plus raide pour gravir le p\u00e2turage avant de partir sur la gauche, pratiquement \u00e0 plat. Quelques passages, sans difficult\u00e9s, requi\u00e8rent cependant de la vigilance, et il ne faudrait pas se trouver ici en cas d\u2019orage. Apr\u00e8s la travers\u00e9e, le chemin continue de monter de fa\u00e7on raide et traverse quelques rochers o\u00f9 l\u2019on doit s\u2019\u00e9quilibrer avec les mains. Nous vous conseillons de bien observer les raides pentes en herbe des vires\u00a0: on y voit souvent des b\u00eates.<\/p>

Arriv\u00e9 dans la cuvette, le sentier s\u2019infl\u00e9chit vers la gauche pour atteindre la large cr\u00eate. L\u00e0, on retrouve l\u2019autre sentier officiellement balis\u00e9 venant de l\u2019autre entonnoir. En suivant la cr\u00eate, on ne tarde pas \u00e0 rejoindre les abords du Westgipfel. On peut alors suivre une bonne trace parcourant la suite de l\u2019ar\u00eate. Arriv\u00e9 pr\u00e8s du sommet 2070m, il vaut la peine de traverser \u00e0 flanc pour pouvoir monter \u00e0 ce sommet depuis l\u2019est. Le parcours en est plus simple.<\/p>

Nous avions pris la bonne d\u00e9cision de monter \u00e0 ce sommet, car on jouit alors d\u2019une vue magnifique sur les montagnes de l\u2019Entlebuch\u00a0: Beichle et Schrattenflue. Depuis le sommet ouest, on n\u2019aurait pas une vue aussi d\u00e9gag\u00e9e.<\/p>

Au retour et avant de rejoindre Gr\u00fceneberg, nous avions d\u00e9cid\u00e9 de gravir le Trogenhorn. Pour atteindre le pied de celui-ci, en suivant l\u2019ar\u00eate, une petite surprise nous a attendu\u00a0: il faut descendre dans une chemin\u00e9e, heureusement \u00e9quip\u00e9e d\u2019\u00e9chelles. La chemin\u00e9e pourrait \u00eatre parcourable sans les \u00e9chelles, mais selon l\u2019humidit\u00e9, la descente pourrait s\u2019av\u00e9rer tr\u00e8s d\u00e9sagr\u00e9able.<\/p>

Au pied du Trogenhorn, on suit plus ou moins l\u2019ar\u00eate est. Il y a une courte \u00e9chelle \u00e0 gravir. Plus haut, l\u2019itin\u00e9raire id\u00e9al n\u2019est pas toujours commode \u00e0 trouver\u00a0: le sommet est constitu\u00e9 d\u2019un entassement de gros blocs \u00e0 travers lesquels il n\u2019est pas toujours facile de traverser. Heureusement, la roche les formants est du gr\u00e8s du Hohgant, tr\u00e8s adh\u00e9rent.<\/p>

Apr\u00e8s la courte descente du Trogenhorn, nous avons suivi le sentier descendant le long de l\u2019Arnigrat. Des passages plats alternent avec des pentes assez raides dans lesquelles le meilleur trac\u00e9 n\u2019est pas toujours \u00e9vident \u00e0 trouver. Heureusement, ce tron\u00e7on est relativement court et on ne tarde pas \u00e0 rejoindre l\u2019alpage d\u2019Arni o\u00f9 on retrouve un bon chemin.<\/p>

Depuis Gr\u00fcenenberg, une petite surprise nous a attendu\u00a0: il faut remonter de quelques m\u00e8tres pour rejoindre le chalet de Hinter Sohl.<\/p>
