<\/p>

Pourquoi est-ce que je parle du \u00ab\u00a0sommet du Gantrisch\u00a0\u00bb\u00a0? La raison est que le toponyme Gantrisch d\u00e9signe non seulement une r\u00e9gion (celle se situant en avant des Pr\u00e9alpes \u00e0 cheval sur les cantons de Fribourg et de Berne), mais \u00e9galement un sommet de cette r\u00e9gion. Etonnament, le sommet du Gantrisch, n\u2019est pas le point culminant de cette cha\u00eene, mais se trouve au sommet de l\u2019Ochse. En revanche, depuis la plaine, le sommet du Gantrisch pr\u00e9sente une forme tr\u00e8s particuli\u00e8re et reconnaissable. C\u2019est probablement pour cette raison que l\u2019on a attribu\u00e9 ce nom \u00e0 la r\u00e9gion.<\/p>

Le sommet du Gantrisch, malgr\u00e9 le fait que les itin\u00e9raires figurant sur la carte sont indiqu\u00e9s en sentier de montagne, n\u00e9cessite un bon pied montagnard pour pouvoir le gravir. Depuis la Wasserscheide, on commence par suivre un bon chemin jusqu\u2019au chalet et buvette d\u2019alpage de Obern\u00fcnene. Depuis cet endroit, le sentier devient plus \u00e9troit et de plus en plus raide. Celui-ci fini par grimper vers l\u2019est en direction du Leiterepass.<\/p>

Depuis le col, le sentier balis\u00e9 invite \u00e0 descendre un peu afin d\u2019emprunter un sentier traversant toute la pente sous le Gantrisch pour rejoindre l\u2019ar\u00eate sud-ouest. Il est toutefois pr\u00e9f\u00e9rable de suivre un sentier parcourant l\u2019ar\u00eate issue du col et se d\u00e9tachant de celle-ci en-dessous du sommet. Ce sentier n\u2019est pas balis\u00e9, mais il est suffisamment parcouru pour \u00eatre relativement facile de parcours. Seuls un ou deux courts passages n\u00e9cessitent l\u2019usage des mains. Dans la travers\u00e9e sous le Gantrisch, quelques ravines pourraient rebuter ceux qui n\u2019ont pas le pied alpin.<\/p>

Apr\u00e8s la travers\u00e9e, on atteint l\u2019ar\u00eate sud-ouest et le sentier balis\u00e9. Malgr\u00e9 le fait que le sentier soit class\u00e9 en sentier de montagne, il faut savoir que l\u2019usage des mains est, \u00e7\u00e0 et l\u00e0 n\u00e9cessaire pour l\u2019\u00e9quilibre. Des c\u00e2bles offrent une aide pour la progression, mais ne sont souvent pas n\u00e9cessaires.<\/p>

Le Gantrisch est un magnifique belv\u00e9d\u00e8re dont la situation s\u2019apparente au Stockhorn. En effet, vers le nord, aucun sommet ne vient cacher la vue. On a \u00e9galement une tr\u00e8s belle vue sur les Alpes dont on distingue le Mont Blanc tout au fond.<\/p>

Pour le retour, j\u2019avais choisi de descendre vers Weissenburg. Pour ce faire, j\u2019ai travers\u00e9 la cr\u00eate pour rejoindre le Morgetepass et descendre le long du Morgetebach. Ce faisant, on passe devant les spectaculaires cascades de Faal. Le seul inconv\u00e9nient est que l\u2019on doit suivre un bon bout la route poussi\u00e9reuse montant \u00e0 Morgete. Comme une voiture passe de temps en temps, on finit par passablement avaler de la poussi\u00e8re.<\/p>

Plus bas, apr\u00e8s un angle de la route, on franchit une spectaculaire passerelle permettant de rejoindre l\u2019autre rive du Morgetebach. A partir de l\u2019autre rive, un sentier am\u00e9nag\u00e9 avec des \u00e9chelles permet de descendre dans le Buuschetal non loin de l\u2019embouchure du Morgetebach. Apr\u00e8s avoir franchit \u00e0 nouveau ce torrent, on suit un sentier beaucoup plus plat permettant d\u2019atteindre les ruines des premiers bains de Weissenburg. En continuant, on passe devant les ruines des bains de Weissenburg et on longe de flanc la vall\u00e9e pour atteindre la gare.<\/p>

En Suisse Allemande, on voit encore beaucoup d\u2019enseignes de restaurants avec la publicit\u00e9 pour la \u00ab\u00a0Weissenburger Citro\u00a0\u00bb. En effet, l\u2019eau min\u00e9rale \u00e9tait capt\u00e9e et mise en bouteille. Il existait \u00e9galement diverses limonades fabriqu\u00e9es \u00e0 base de l\u2019eau min\u00e9rale. La production a cess\u00e9 en 1988 apr\u00e8s que l\u2019\u00e9quipement de production avait \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9m\u00e9nag\u00e9 \u00e0 Eglisau.<\/p>
