Premier jour à pied du Rhône à la Maggia

This hike was inspired by a book by a writer from Romandie: the book « A pied du Rhône à la Maggia » by S. Corinna Bille. This book relates the journey she made with her husband (Maurice Chappaz) and their son in the early 1950s. In the 1999 edition of « Joie de Lire » (unfortunately out of print), they recommend performing the journey in 6 days. Here, I had decided to do it over 4 days, which required some adjustments, and in particular, to take the bus-taxi from Binn to Brunnebiel. In addition, I did not leave from Fiesch, but from Fürgangen, because the suspension bridge intrigued me.
